Springtime!

The weather has been amazing and every day we are able to, Eden hangs by the back door until I open the door and let her run free, giggling after the dog :) Jay also has a new gardening companion. Eden follows her dad through all of the watering, and planting. She even helps him weed! It takes quite a bit of effort to part her from him when he is mowing the lawn!
Here you can see that she ran right into the hose's line of fire . . . this picture doesn't really reveal all the joy she got out of running in and out of the water.
I finally set up the little pool . . . I think we have a water baby on our hands :)
After all of that chasing, squealing, and splashing around she had an enormous nap . . . and awoke with the best bed-head of all time :)

The Adventures of Glamour Girl

A surprise shipment came in the other day from Aunt Mercedes and Uncle Nick. Eden couldn't hold back her excitement and immediately tried on every item of jewelry . . . Thank you Aunt Cedes and Uncle Nick! Her inner girly-girl has finally been allowed to roam free :)She decided to take a stroll around outside in order to show off her finery . . . however, the obscenity of my bare foot forced her to retire to the lawn . . .And count her jewels among furrier and more refined company. On the lawn she met a humble monk living life as a beggar, (St. Francis to be precise). Upon noting his simple holiness and peace, she decided to abandon her sparkly ways and offered him all of her jewels. Well, all except the necklace . . . what's a girl to do without a necklace?!

The End of Sweater Weather . . .

Or at least we are very nearly there :)

Eden looks so serious in these pictures, but I couldn't help but post them . . . She is such a cutie, even when there is no smile to be seen :)!
(In the background you can see my massive nesting projects . . . cleaning out closets, sewing, dismantling rooms and putting them back together again . . . only a month and a half to go before the new baby is here!)

(For Grandma and Grandpa Jensen . . . Look! Curls! They are even tighter when she has just gotten out of the shower!)
