Whew! It's October Already!
Busy, busy, busy . . . I can't believe that our last blog post was in August! I'm a big believer in writing lists but for whatever reason (3 kids under the age of 5) I have kept putting blog writing on the bottom of the list. So here we go . . . a quick summary of the end of summer into early fall!

First off we have torn off our front porch and are in the process of building a new one. Underneath the porch we discovered a nest of flying ants, a fairly large animal hole, tons of ivy with mice crawling all over the place, and a small tree that was preparing to push its way through the floorboards!
We went to the State Fair with Nana and Papa, and Nemmers fell in love with the goats! The girls saw tons of animals, Native American dances, butter sculptures and horse jumping.
Eden turned four!!! I can hardly believe our baby girl is 4, and what a wonderful 4 years it has been. (Here she is wearing the pirate shirt and holding pirate gold from her Uncle Rob.)And here she and her dad set up her new wooden farm.Eden helped make her birthday dessert, red velvet cupcakes. Pretty soon she was experimenting with red velvet cupcakes as makeup . . . hahah, just another day as a mother to girls! (Oh, and check out the flowers Jay got for me! What a sweet husband :) ) The first day of school arrived shortly after her birthday and Eden couldn't have been more excited. This girl loves school and Nem can't wait to join her big sister in the magical world of Miss Kathy's Montessori program!I did a little presentation for her class about her four years on earth and what she has been filling her days with. And my oh my, our little Finn just keeps on growing,in cuteness, in kissability,
and in humor. This has been my most smiley baby so far, he's my sunshine boy!To say goodbye to the summer we had late night star watching parties. New boxes to play with. Well, so much to smile about really. And our new favorite game involves three little pigs and, "I'll huff and I'll puff and I'll blow your house down!" "Not by the hair of our chinny-chin-chins!"
